The Northern Correspondent—Issue 9: People & Power
An illustrated map of Sunderland, created using food packaging from the bakery chain, 'Greggs'. The map accompanies an article I produced on how environment can shape behaviour and lifestyle choices.
The Northern Correspondent—Issue 8: Before and After
Three illustrations produced to accompany an article i had written for the 'before and after' themed issue of 'The Northern Correspondent' magazine.
The illustrations and writing are personal reflections of my experience of my fathers death, considering the tendency to not acknowledge the perceived negative traits of a deceased love after their passing. The piece is an attempt to celebrate the full spectrum of my alcoholic musician fathers legacy by acknowledging his failures as equal opportunities to learn from, as his successes.

The Northern Correspondent—Issue 7: Lost and Found
Editorial Illustration for the 'Lost and Found' issue of the Northern Correspondent. The illustration was created to accompany an article written by mental health charity worker Christopher Wilcock about the sense of displacement that those suffering from mental health issues experience in attempting to acquire adequate treatment for their conditions.
