The Northern Correspondent - Issue 9, 'People & Power'
An illustrated map of my hometown, Sunderland, made up of wrappers from the bakery chain, 'Greggs'. The map accompanies an article I wrote on how environment can shape behaviour and lifestyle choices.
The Northern Correspondent - Issue 8, 'Before and After'
3 illustrations produced to accompany an article i had written for the 'before and after' themed issue of 'The Northern Correspondent' magazine.
The illustrations and writing are personal reflections of my experience of my fathers death, which lead me to consider how there is a tendency in the West to not acknowledge the perceived negative traits of a deceased love after their passing. The editorial piece is an attempt to celebrate the full spectrum of my alcoholic musician fathers legacy, in acknowledging his failures as equal opportunities to learn from as his successes.

The Northern Correspondent - Issue 7, 'Lost and Found'
Editorial Illustration for issue #7 of the 'Lost and Found' issue of the Northern Correspondent. The illustration was created to accompany an article on the sense of displacement that those suffering from mental health issues experience in attempting to acquire adequate treatment for their conditions.
